Vitamins For Pimple Prone Skin – Where Do Vitamins Fit in Your Battle Against Pimple?

When it comes to finding a permanent cure for Pimple, keep in mind that Pimple is really just the effect of the interplay of factors inside the body. Researchers have identified these factors into the following:
1. Hormonal imbalance
Your body uses hormones to communicate between organs. Androgenic hormones like testosterone communicate with your sebum glands and they are responsible for the amount of sebum these oil glands will eventually secrete. Under normal circumstances, the oil glands should produce the right amount of oil for skin moisture, elasticity, etc.

However, when you suffer from hormonal imbalance, your oil glands start to produce excess oil, or worse, produce oil that is thick and sticky. Hormonal imbalance usually starts at puberty and happens when the body lacks the necessary vitamins and minerals to produce hormones.
Now you might wonder why only a handful of teenagers suffer from Pimple when it’s obvious that ALL teenagers have hormonal imbalance. The answer lies partly on the second factor: build up of toxins.
2. Toxin Buildup
We ingest toxins everyday from what we eat, drink, breathe or come into contact with. And although our body has a 24/7 detoxification system composed of the liver, kidney, colon, lungs and skin, too much exposure to toxins can overwhelm the body. The toxins are then stored in our tissues, blood and lymph.
When certain toxins in your blood and lymph combine with the excess of sebum from your oil glands, bacteria starts to flourish, leading to Pimple. This is the main reason why using topical anti-Pimple treatments will never work in the long run. Bacterial will return again and again for as long you have toxins in your blood and extra sebum in your oil glands.
But then again you might ask, if hormonal imbalance and toxins were the only causes of Pimple, then why is it there are teenagers who lead toxic lifestyles but yet do not suffer from Pimple? This is where the third factor comes in: sensitive sebum glands.
3. Sensitive sebum glands
Having sensitive sebum glands can be blamed on nothing else but genetics. Some people are just naturally “endowed” with sensitive sebum glands that produce excess oil when there is hormonal imbalance. And there in lies the difference between people who are prone to Pimple and people who have healthy skin.
And while there’s nothing you can do about your genetics, at least there’s something you can do about hormonal imbalance as well as the toxins in your body. You can, for example, take vitamins for Pimple prone skin to treat any hormonal imbalances.
